Florida averages 300 days of full sunshine a year and most of the state has a subtropical climate.
The weather is tempered by the surrounding water and the hottest summer months often bring late afternoon thunderstorms. These usually don’t last long and clear the air which gives clear fresh evenings.
Our favorite time is the spring and autumn when the weather is best described as like an warm English summer, but without the rain!
